Absolutely. Let’s say you’re flying from Los Angeles to Paris via Chicago. Your plane is late into Chicago and you miss your connecting flight. When you receive the email or text asking, “Are you travelling from Chicago to Paris at 13:05?”, you can respond “no”.
At this point, the system cancels that segment of your trip. When you have arranged your continuing flight, you can go back into your itinerary and add the new flight information, either through the Mia Bazo online portal, or the Mia Travel or Mia Nucleus apps.
Your travel administrator can select to receive your confirmations of (or deviations from) your trip segments. This gives them the option of contacting you to determine your next best course of action.
